    Salary/Pay and Grade Pay –  For multitasking staff and havaldar (sergeant) posts, the payable salary will be Rs 18,000 – 22,000 per month. Further information about salary details is mentioned in the detailed advertisement.

    Selection Method – For recruitment in the Staff Selection Commission, the candidate will be selected on the basis of their performance in the computer-based online exam and physical efficiency test/ physical standard test. Candidates must be prepared for these tests.

    Syllabus –  The computer based examination will consist of following subjects:
    • General Awareness (25 Questions, 75 Marks)
    • English Language and Comprehension (25 Questions, 75 Marks)
    • Numerical and Mathematical Ability (20 Questions, 60 Marks)
    • Reasoning Ability and Problem Solving (20 Questions, 60 Marks).

    The total duration of written exam will be 90 minutes. Total number of questions will be 90 and total marks will be 270. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers. The medium for examination will be in English and Hindi.
