| About Recruitment: Uttar Pradesh Police is the police service responsible for maintaining justice and law and order in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh with a population of 20 crore (as of 2011) in an area of 236,286 sq.km. This police service is the largest police service not only in India but also in the world. The Director General of Police-Services commands a strength of around 1.70 lakh and controls the system divided into 33 armed battalions and other specialized wings in 75 districts.
